Developer speaks out on delayed sequel.
Delayed dungeon crawler Torchlight 2 is being held back from completion due to efforts to ensure the game is thoroughly balanced and polished to a sheen.
Runic Games’s founder Travis Baldree took to the developer’s community forums to explain the situation to fans including post beta fixes, skill changes, features still to be added
Many folks are anxious to see the game released – many have preordered, and want a date,” said Baldree.
“We’ve been deliberately vague on this point. My hope is that if I give you an idea of what we’re doing, what it takes to do it, and the scale of it, it will make it apparent why that is.”

Torchlight 2 is in development for PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and Wii U.
