Survivors, Predator, and Siege modes revealed.
Capcom has detailed three online modes for upcoming survival horror Resident Evil 6 that will appear first on Xbox 360.
Due to launch some time after the game’s release on October 2nd, Microsoft confirmed that it had secure a timed-exclusivity deal with Capcom for three post-launch content packs at E3 earlier this year.
Capcom has detailed the downloadable multiplayer experiences which includes Survivors, Predator, and Siege modes, all of which will support up to six players and can be played using maps from Mercenaries mode.
Survivors is a twist on solo/team Versus. Get killed and you’ll respawn as a enemy character who can only regain his human form by taking down two human characters.
Predator sees one player take control of fearsome B.O.W. Ustanak as he kills five other human players. The goal for the other players is to take Ustanak down or survive until the timer runs out.
Siege has players work to protect an NPC while a group of other human controlled enemies try to kill the target.
Capcom says other downloadable content such as new Mercenaries maps will also launch in the coming months.
Neither Microsoft or Capcom has stated how long these modes will be exclusive to Xbox 360 or how much they will cost.
Resident Evil 6 launches on October 2nd on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
