Kalypso Media make you an offer you can’t refuse…
Haemimont Games and Kalypso Media have announced that the part tactical RPG, part management sim Omerta: City of Gangsters will be released for PC and Xbox 360 on Friday, 1st February.
Omerta was originally slated for release at the tail-end of 2012 but the game was held back in order to add more polish and content to what seems like a very promising release. Now the game is clearly up to the standard both Haemimont and Kalypso are happy with however, as in addition to the release date announcement both developer and publisher confirmed the game has gone gold.
“We are thrilled to be able to release yet another great strategy IP with Tropico 4 developer Haemimont. Omerta – City of Gangsters will let players choose brass knuckles and tommy guns, intimidation or bribes, or a combination of all of these, to carve out their own criminal empires on the Atlantic City Boardwalk,” explained Kalypso Media’s VP, Mario Knoll.
Expect more news regarding Omerta as the release date looms ever closer.
