CD Projekt has announced that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be released on Xbox 360 in North America on April 17th.
That should place the European release on April 20th.
The date was announced in a new CGI trailer which shows off the game’s bloody fantasy aesthetic and uncompromising regicide premise. You can watch the footage here, but rest assured it isn’t for the faint of heart.
The Witcher 2 ranked as one of the finest games released last year in PCGZine’s ‘Best of 2011′ feature.
We have our fingers crossed that the console version, which is exclusive to the Xbox 360, will be just as enjoyable!
