Bad news for Call Of Duty fans; unfortunately you’ll never actually be able to play Modern Warfare 3.
Yes, evangelical broadcaster extraordinaire Harold Camping has adjusted the date for the end of the world, after it mysteriously didn’t happen on May 21st – his initial prediction.
According to the BBC News Website, Mr. Camping is now certain that the Rapture will come on October 21st, meaning that games like Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and of course, Planet Michael, will never see the light of day.
A good thing too, as many ‘enlightened’ types had spent life savings in preparation for the previous end of the world. When quizzed on the subject, Camping said "we just had a great recession. There’s lots of people who lost their jobs, lots of people who lost their houses… and somehow they all survived,"
"We’re not in the business of giving any financial advice," he added.
"We’re in the business of telling people maybe there is someone you can talk to, and that’s God."
So, no Modern Warfare 3 then. Always look on the bright side of life, though- you’ve got a good month of Gears to get stuck into.
