Viacom has confirmed rumours that it’s to sell up Rock Band developer Harmonix.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Harmonix is responsible for dragging the company’s results for the past several quarters because of Rock Band’s "pricey accessories".
Details are still scarce on potential buyers or other information regarding the sale.
Rock Band 3 was released in the UK late last month and saw disappointing week one sales.
