UK videogame retailers GAME and gamestation are to stop selling pre-owned models of older Xbox 360 systems according to a Eurogamer report.
These include the following models:
*Xbox 360 Core
*Xbox 360 Arcade
*Xbox 360 20GB (no-HDMI)
According to Eurogamer’s report, a GAME spokesperson says the retailer and its consumers are looking to focus on new machinery which we can assume means the newer slim Xbox 360 consoles.
However, comments from gamestation sources suggest that a “high failure rate” of these older SKUs was the reason.
Both GAME and gamestation will continue to accept trade-ins on these older models.
