THQ has just announced UFC Undisputed 3, the new entrant in its wildly popular MMA franchise.
The game, due out in the first quarter of 2012, sees a tweaked control system, new submissions, a simulation mode, and most importantly, the inclusion of Pride arenas and rules.
For those not in the know, Pride was the UFC’s main rival a few years ago, based in Japan, and allowed much more vicious attacks. You can kick and knee to the head of a grounded opponent, and the action takes place in a ring as opposed to a cage.
UFC Undisputed 3 hits PS3 and 360 in early 2012.
