UFC Undisputed 3, the sequel the multi-million selling MMA series, will hit US stores on February 14th 2012, and presumably UK shelves on Feb 17th.
The third game in the series has had close to two years in the oven, giving the development team at Yuke’s and THQ time to include two new weight classes, a Pride Fighting Championship mode and a host of in-ring tweaks, changes and improvements.
The original UFC Undisputed is heralded as the game that saved THQ back in 2009, going on to sell some 5 million copies and outperform the public’s expectation. After slightly lower sales of the 2010 edition, THQ and the UFC decided to kill the idea of turning it into a yearly ‘franchise’ model and concentrate on quality.
