Early adopters of Microsoft’s new motion-control sensor Kinect may be a little disheartened to learn that the Star Wars title for the device, previously shown at E3 2010, won’t see a release until Christmas 2011.
Such confirmation came from Kudo Tsunoda, creative director for Kinect, during a brief interview with the BBC.
"We have a Kinect Star Wars game coming out for next holiday (Christmas 2011)," he said. "I think you could just easily imagine being a Jedi and using Kinect to make you feel you’re part of a Star Wars experience, building yourself up into a Jedi. I’ve seen a bunch of the game and it’s super compelling."
With little having been seen of the game since it’s brief appearance at E3, Tsunoda’s comments are at least enough to clarify that it is still in development.
Crysis 3, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Borderlands 2 and Far Cry 3 previews plus reviews for Prototype 2, Sniper Elite V2 and The Witcher 2.
