SSX could be about to receive a DLC pack themed around 2001 fan favourite SSX Tricky, judging by an image currently being teased on the official SSX Facebook page.
According to EA, “members of the SSX community have been finding pieces of a puzzle in their email”.
But when pieced together, the puzzle appears to show a screenshot containing numerous elements of past SSX games, including fireworks, colourful terrain and Elise in her SSX Tricky costume.
A few puzzle pieces are still missing, but as you can see for yourself above, the image appears to hint heavily at an SSX Tricky DLC pack for SSX.
SSX launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 last month to a divided critical reception. Many critics, us included, criticised the game for lacking the energy and flair found in previous SSX games.
This DLC, if real, may put that right.
EA is no stranger to launching huge, themed DLC packs for its games.
Both Battlefield 3 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 received large themed DLC packs, while 2008 racer Burnout Paradise introduced an entirely new area to its open world with its Big Surf Island pack.
