An array of downloadable content inspired by classic snowboarding games SSX Tricky and SSX 3 will be available for SSX players to download in May, EA has announced.
The ‘Mt. Eddie’ and ‘Classic Characters’ packs will both be available to download from Xbox Live and PSN from May 1st, retro-fitting a “classic SSX experience” onto this year’s SSX.
The Mt. Eddie pack includes a “Tricky inspired, ultra-long mountain” that features 9 new Race and Trick drops, and is filled with “huge kickers, ridiculous grinds, a Big Air drop, fireworks and a whole lot more”.
Meanwhile, the Classic Characters pack features 7 retro characters from SSX 3 and SSX Tricky (including Elise in her classic Tricky suit), and 3 classic music tracks.
A UK price point for the packs has yet to be confirmed, but they’ll retail in the US for $5.99 a piece, or $7.99 as a bundle. Expect the bundle to cost 800MSP on Xbox Live.
SSX’s classic-themed DLC was first hinted at last week when members of the SSX community started receiving pieces of a jigsaw puzzle featuring a screenshot of the DLC.
Company of Heroes 2, Batman: Arkham Origins, Grand Theft Auto V, Watch_Dogs, Beyond: Two Souls and Night of the Rabbit previews.
