A new Xbox 360 dashboard update is set to go live on May 19 according to an internal memo released to Joystiq by a Microsoft tech support employee.
According to the document (which you can see for yourself by visiting the link on the right), the update will be rolled out in six separate waves starting May 19 and ending May 30.
Detail updates include the support of Microsoft’s larger game disc format to be used in future Xbox 360 titles, and Paypal support allowing users to use digital currency to purchase content from Xbox Live.
Another document also confirms that Avatar Kinect, the free download that allows players to hop into a chat room with their friends using the Kinect Sensor to track your facial expressions, will launch on May 27.
Avatar Kinect was announced in January during Microsoft’s CES conference.
