The latest title update for Need For Speed: The Run fixes issues with ‘frustrating’ car resets, EA has confirmed.
According to the change log, the title update, which is available to download now on Xbox 360, makes “improvements to reset behavior in Single Player”, most notably placing racers back on the track rather than at the last checkpoint when they go off track.
Modifications have also been made to the positioning of the reset barrier, which EA hopes “should reduce some frustration for players where they’ve suddenly been reset by just barely going off course”.
The patch rolled out onto PS3 earlier in the week, but it looks like PC players may have to wait slightly longer for their update.
EA says it has “a patch in the works” for the PC version, “but no ETA on when it will be released”.
