New multiplayer modes for Modern Warfare 3 will be released this weekend, Infinity Ward has revealed.
“Ready for new game modes for Modern Warfare 3?” Infinity Ward’s Creative Strategist asked on Twitter last night.
“I’ve got some surprises for you for the weekend. I’ll confirm full details tomorrow!”
It’s not yet known whether the new modes will be free to access playlists or premium DLC.
Activision previously announced that Modern Warfare 3 would be receiving 20 pieces of DLC across its lifetime, including new multiplayer maps, Spec Ops missions and game modes.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is out now on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
