Since Bungie left Master Chief to pursue its own dreams with Activision, Microsoft has placed 343 Industries in charge of the Halo franchise and it seems development of the next chapter is ramping up, as fifteen new job openings were placed on the developer’s official website.
The Washington based studio is looking for a variety of talented potential staffers including an environment artist, multiplayer designer, animator, concept artist, game engineer, effects artist and more.
It is rumoured that 343 Industries next project is associated with revamping Halo: Combat Evolved, but seeing as none of these postings allude to experience developing or porting original Xbox titles, there is no proof of the industry chatter here.
Whatever the case we’re sure to hear about the Microsoft owned studio’s next big project over the coming months.
