With just under 12 hours to go until the biggest game everTM bursts onto store shelves across the UK, the supermarkets have each revealed the deals they’ll be offering on Modern Warfare 3 from midnight tonight.
But can any of them beat Sainsbury’s fantastic £26 Modern Warfare 2 deal? Here’s the full list of what’s on offer:
TESCO
£25 when you buy 2100 Microsoft Points (£16.99), 4200 Microsoft Points (£35 – and perfect for COD: Elite), 12 Month Xbox Live Gold (£36) or a £25 or £35 PSN card. £38.91 when bought separately.
SAINSBURY’S
£28.99 when you spend £30 or more instore – a bargain if you’re looking to do your weekly shop at the same time.
Here’s the caveat: there are all kind of exclusions, including fuel, medicine, tobacco and scratch cards, and you’re only allowed one copy of MW3 per customer, meaning you can’t buy a second to help take you over that £30 threshold. However, if you haven’t yet picked up a copy of Forza 4, it might be worth looking out for that and a few penny sweets tonight. Turn 10′s gorgeous racer is currently only £29.99 at Sainsbury’s…
MORRISONS
£25 when bought with 12 months Xbox Live Gold (£35). There doesn’t appear to be any equivalent deal for the PlayStation 3 version.
ASDA
£38.97. No ifs, buts or when bought with deals. Just a straight up £39. Dead Island’s a bargain-tastic £25, though.
