Kinect Star Wars will release in the UK on April 3rd, Microsoft has announced.
The Limited Edition Star Wars Xbox 360 Bundle, which features an R2-D2 themed 320GB Xbox 360 and white Kinect sensor, will also launch the same day.
Kinect Star Wars is Microsoft’s next big hope for its motion-sensing device. The game immerses players into the Star Wars universe, letting them ride Landspeeders, duel with the Sith using lightsabers and compete in Galactic Dance Offs using just their bodies.
Yes, you read that right. Galactic Dance Offs. In a Star Wars game. Good luck with that, Force fans.
In addition, Microsoft announced that the limited edition console bundle would also feature an exclusive C-3PO unlockable for the game’s Dance Mode.
Kinect Star Wars had originally been due to launch late last year but was delayed to ensure its “full potential”.
The game is currently in development at Ghostbusters: The Video Game dev studio Terminal Reality.
