Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary’s Executive Producer Dan Ayoub has confirmed that the classic multiplayer maps included with Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary will “eventually” be made available as DLC for Halo: Reach.
“If you’ve got Reach and you don’t have this (Halo: CE Anniversary), eventually you’ll be able to just download those maps,” said Ayoub talking to Gametrailers.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is a remastered version of the original Xbox classic due for release later this year. The single-player game features options to play in a classic mode with the original visuals and sound, or in a new mode featuring remastered audio and graphics.
The Halo: Reach engine, meanwhile, is also being used to power the game’s online multiplayer.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary launches exclusively on Xbox 360 on November 15th 2011.
