The first in-game screenshots of Halo 4 have leaked onto the net ahead of an expected announcement later today.
The two shots, which were leaked by Gamerlive.TV (and spotted by NeoGAF), show Master Chief donning his new armour and carrying the series’ trademark Battle Rifle.
Looks pretty sweet, right? 343 Industries agrees.
Over the weekend, Halo 4′s principal engine programmer Corrinne Yu claimed that the game is ”the best looking game on Xbox and any other consoles we ever made and we’re all from AAA studios.
“We work hard to earn trust of Halo fans with solid work.We need [to] let graphics, visuals, [and] game levels speak for us, leave judging to fans.”
More information on Halo 4 is expected to be revealed this afternoon.
Halo 4 launches exclusively on Xbox 360 at the end of the year.
