Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk developer Neversoft is working on a first-person shooter title, new job listings have revealed.
Numerous job listings posted on the developer’s own hiring page confirm the team are working on a FPS title looking for new additions to their team from multiplayer level designers, network programmers, and a Windows PC Platform Lead Engineer.
Neversoft, who are owned by Activision Blizzard, famously worked on the early Tony Hawk games and up until recently was focussed almost entirely on the Guitar Hero franchise. Both the Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk series were put on hiatus last year after slumping sales called for a break in Activision’s year-on-year sequels.
No details suggest whether or not Neversoft’s project is a new IP or an existing franchise.
Could Activision be adding Neversoft to its Call of Duty production line?
