A pre-order listing on GAME’s website has priced the Limited Edition Gears of War 3 Xbox 360 console at £269.99.
The limited edition console, which sports a red and black finish adorned with Gears of War’s iconic crimson omen, comes equipped with a 320GB hard drive, two transforming d-pad wireless controllers (again both decorated in a red and black finish), and a copy of Gears of War 3.
Similar to last year’s limited edition Halo: Reach console, the console also features custom sounds for powering up the console and opening/closing the disc drawer.
Microsoft had previously only announced a North American price for the LE console. The bundle will cost $399.99 in the States.
A standard 250GB Xbox 360 would usually set you back £199.99.
The price suggests that Microsoft may not be planning on announcing a price cut for the Xbox 360 during GamesCom in August, something which Sony is rumoured to be doing with its PlayStation 3.
The Limited Edition Gears of War 3 Xbox 360 goes on sale alongside the game on September 20th.
