Leading UK retailer GAME has announced it is to host a new gaming consumer show this September.
Titled Gamefest, MD Martyn Gibbs made the announcement during the UK Video Game BAFTAs where he revealed the event would be held at the Birmingham NEC on September 16-18.
GAME has not provided detail on just which publishers will be appearing at the debut or how much tickets will cost. Some sites are reporting that the show could be exclusive to GAME Reward Card holders.
In the same month, the annual Eurogamer Expo will be held just a week later at London’s Earls Court. Tickets for this event are already beginning to sell out.
