Square Enix has confirmed that RPG sequel Final Fantasy XIII-2 will launch in the UK and Europe on February 3, 2012.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a direct sequel to 2010′s Final Fantasy XIII and will see players continuing the story of lead character Lightning as well as others including new mysterious character Noel.
Square Enix also confirmed that XIII-2 will be supported with downloadable content post launch including costumes, weapons and monsters.
Mini-games will also return for XIII-2 which will include a casino and Chocobo racing.
Glee star Charice will be singing the theme song, “New World” in Final Fantasy XIII-2 in PAL territories.
Former X-Factor winner Leona Lewis provided the theme “My Hands” for Final Fantasy XIII last year.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 will hit Xbox 360 and PS3 on February 3.
