Microsoft and Lionhead Studios have confirmed that the Fable series has sold more than 9 million units.
The series started out on the original Xbox in 2004 and has since evolved into a triple A franchise headed by legendary designer Peter Molyneux.
Fable has since spawned two sequels and the series is synonymous with British humour and charm as well as easy to pick up and play combat.
Lionhead announced Fable: The Journey as the next instalment in this popular franchise which makes full use of Microsoft’s Kinect sensor.
