UK retailer HMV are to offer Bashy’s "Kidulthood 2 Adulthood" as free piece of exclusive downloadable content to those that pre-order Def Jam Rapstar from now up until its November 25th release date, on either PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
In discussing 4mm Games rap offering, Bashy commented that he feels that a real rapstar may well be discovered amongst those that pick up and enjoy the title.
"As technology moves forward, you can become a massive star from MySpace, Facebook and Twitter," he explained. "The natural progression is Def Jam Rapstar where a real rapstar is discovered from the game – that’s really cool."
The 25-year old contemporary, British lyricist and actor Bashy (aka Ashley Thomas) is also featured within the retailer’s "My Inspiration" campaign, which invites icons and new artists to share with fans anything that inspires them, that is then highlighted through the use of in-store and print advertising.
"Kidulthood 2 Adulthood" is also to be available as downloadable content upon Def Jam Rapstar’s release on November 25th, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii.
