EA has announced eager fans will be able to get their hands on a demo of the upcoming horror action game Dead Space 2 later this month.
Hitting Xbox Live on December 21st and the day after on PlayStation Network, EA says the demo will allow players to explore the Church of Unitology before taking it to the Necromorph in a ‘gruesome, unforgiving battle’.
"The holidays are a great time to enjoy all forms of entertainment, and we can’t wait to give horror and action adventure gamers a taste of what awaits them in Dead Space 2," said Steve Papoutsis, Executive Producer of the Dead Space franchise. "Releasing the demo five weeks before launch will not only re-connect players with our hero Isaac Clarke, but will also give them the opportunity to experience firsthand various jaw-dropping scenarios. It’s gonna be awesome."
Mark it in your calendars. The Dead Space 2 demo will drop on December 21st.
Dead Space 2 will launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on January 28th 2011.
