The Xbox 360 version of Dead Space 2′s Collector’s Edition has sold out in the UK.
HMV, who had the exclusive UK rights to the Collector’s Edition, confirmed to GamerZines that the Xbox 360 version had sold through its allocation, leaving only the PC version left to pre-order. "The collector’s editions are very limited for Dead Space 2," the retailer added.
The Collector’s Edition, which was initially available to pre-order on both Xbox 360 and PC, includes a copy of the game plus a replica of Isaac’s Plasma Cutter, and a voucher to download a Unitology Suit and Force Gun for use in-game. It also features a CD of the game’s soundtrack and a Necromorph lithograph.
The Collector’s Edition, of course, is not to be confused with the PS3′s Limited Edition, which includes an HD remake of Dead Space: Extraction. The Limited Edition is still widely available to pre-order.
Dead Space 2 launches in the UK on January 28th. Be sure to look out for our review of Visceral’s freakishly intense space shooter in the next issue of P3Zine, available to download for free from January 27th.
