Crytek will officially lift the lid on Crysis 3 next Monday, 16th April, the studio has revealed.
“The best kept secret in shooters just can’t be contained,” read a Tweet from the studio in response to yesterday’s leaks, confirming that the game is indeed in development.
“Stay tuned for more information on April 16.”
The game’s box art leaked onto EA’s digital store Origin yesterday, revealing that the nanosuited star will have access to a brand new high-tech bow and arrow weapon.
Additional leaks revealed that multiple editions of the game will be available, including a Hunter Edition and Limited Edition. Bonus pre-order packs will also be available.
It’s been rumoured this morning that the game will launch in spring 2013.
Whether Crysis 3 is the “best kept secret”, of course, is open to debate.
Crytek heavily hinted at a Crysis 3 announcement early last month, and said that it was “looking to continue Crysis” all the way back in July 2011.
