Crackdown 2 developer Ruffian Games is developing an unannounced title for “one of the biggest publishers in the industry”, according to job advertisements for the studio listed this morning.
According to the listings, the studio, which is looking for an Art Director and Environment Artists, “has just signed a major contract with one of the biggest publishers in the industry to create a AAA game for current generation consoles”.
Unfortunately, the ads don’t drop any hints as to what the game could be – but we wouldn’t be too surprised to see a third Crackdown in the works.
Crackdown 2 launched exclusively on Xbox 360 in July 2010. The open world game was a direct sequel to the original Crackdown, developed by the now defunct Realtime Worlds.
