Those within Germany hoping to play the PC version of Treyarch’s anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops won’t be able to import an unedited European version of the game, despite the fact that they share the same PAL region coding.
PCGames.de reports that due to every installation requiring activation through Steam, the online service will only authorise fully localised German versions of the title within the country.
Strict censorship laws enforced within Germany mean that a large quantity of games must undergo strict checks regarding their depictions of war, excessive violence, and use of any insignia.
