Splash Damage has release a software update for parkour shooter Brink also confirming that the first piece of downloadable content will be free.
The update, available now, is said to reduce lag in the Xbox 360 version of Brink by reducing the number of human players available in matchmaking for the Campaign and Freeplay modes from 16 to eight players max.
The PC version will also see an update the full details of which are in the detailed in the link on the right.
A PlayStation 3 update will go live with the PlayStation Store goes back online.
Splash Damage added that the first DLC due to be release in June will be free to all players. The DLC will feature additional maps and new content.
Brink is out now on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
