Tanks, marines, and living war memorial statues were scattered across London for the launch of EA and DICE’s Battlefield 3 this week.
Fans began queuing for the midnight launch at 2am on October 27 to be first to get their hands on the game at GAME’s midnight launch held at flagship store Oxford Street, London.
As the clock reached midnight, The Gadget Show’s Jason Bradbury turned up to entertain the crowd as a military tank rolled down Oxford Street to deliver stock of the highly-anticipated title.
After queuing for an impressive 27 hours, Jonatan Fernandes was the first customer to get his hans on a copy of Battlefield 3.
Although, he wasn’t the only one. GAME also rolled out war memorial living statues adverts for the game across London and even snapped their own solider popping in-store to grab his copy.
Battlefield 3 goes on sale today in the UK on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
