More details on Assassin’s Creed III have leaked, this time courtesy of the game’s listing on Xbox.com.
According to the game’s product page, Assassin’s Creed III will not only feature the series’ standard 8-player multiplayer mode, but also include support for 4-player co-op. The information has since been deleted.
Unfortunately, the listing didn’t confirm whether or not the co-op is tied to the main campaign or if it’ll feature in a standalone mode, but nonetheless, a 4-player Assassin’s Creed doesn’t sound too shabby, right?
The first official details on Assassin’s Creed III were revealed by Ubisoft yesterday alongside a debut trailer.
The game features a brand new Native American assassin called Ratohnaké:ton and is set during the American Revolution.
The game is due to launch on October 31st on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. A Wii U version is also in development.
