Activision has announced that the first-ever Call of Duty UK Championship will commence next month in London.
On August 7, the best COD players from across the country will battle it out to represent Britain in the first ever Call of Duty XP event to be held in Los Angeles, California in September.
A team of four will compete to be the winning clan in a 32-team, double-elimination qualifier matches of Call of Duty: Black Ops to win the all-expenses paid trip to compete in the $1 million LA tournament.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′s multiplayer mode will be revealed and playable at the Call of Duty XP competition in LA.
The UK qualifying event will be held in the Sound Nightclub in London’s Leicester Square on August 7.
