Judgement is coming…in March.
Gears of War: Judgement will launch sometime in March 2013.
“You heard it here! Gears of War Judgment will be released in March… But @GearsViking won’t let us say more yet”, said G4′s X-Play via Twitter.
The prequel story in development with Bulletstorm team People Can Fly was announced shortly before E3 last month.
Judgement will see players play as series favourites Baird, Cole, and the rest of Kilo Squad who have been accused of treason, desertion, cowardice, trespassing, and theft of experimental tech.
The vague March release is likely to be a worldwide launch window putting it just 18 months after the release of 2011′s Gears of War 3, which Epic Games has recently confirmed it will no longer be supporting with new content.
Series creator Cliff Bleszinski confirmed that there are no plans for Judgement to support Kinect.
