The Guildford-based studio confirmed that the had gone gold yesterday and would be released on Xbox 360 this month.
No other platforms have been confirmed for Joe Danger 2.
After wrapping up development on Joe Danger 2 however, Hello Games has said it plans to move onto new pastures.
“I think it’s that Joe Danger is done now. We’re not going to make another one,” said Hello Games managing director Sean Murray.
“Don’t get me wrong, I think this game is great, the best thing we’ve ever done and it feels like we finally nailed it. It’s a huge game made by a small team. We owed Joe a great swansong, a game that hopefully people still remember playing in ten years time. I hope we’ve done that. Saying that out loud, I just remembered how I should go join the rest of the team to celebrate now.”
A firm date is expected to be nailed down for Joe Danger 2 soon.
