This week we officially have a shed-load of fantastic videos for you culminating in over an hour’s worth of entertainment, so let’s stop with the preamble and get to it!
The star feature this week is an especially emotional goodbye by Bungie to the franchise that made them famous worldwide, Halo. This hour-long documentary catalogues how the franchise evolved since 1998 and the hurdles the talented team had to overcome to make it the name it is today. There’s something so bitter sweet about this expertly put together footage that we can’t help, but enjoy it with a tinge of sadness. Here’s to you Bungie, thanks for giving us such great memories.
The Silly Adventures of Mr. Mochi -
If the last entry brought a tear to your eye, this video is the complete antithesis of that sorrowful act and an example of Oblivion Machinima at its finest. If you’ve yet to buy Elder Scrolls IV on PC, this video makes a compelling argument to do so.
Star Wars: The Old Republic Gameplay Overview -
There’s plenty of SW:TOR footage floating around the internet these days, but it’s a testament to BioWare’s first MMO that gameplay still looks so promising. This video of a Flashpoint mission, successfully puts across that this truly is a story-driven MMO. Star Wars fans need to check this out!
Racing games don’t get a lot of credit for their creativity, but Turn 10 are looking to change that with the first in a series of in-depth behind the scene videos documenting how the team puts together their fantasy tracks to compliment the real-world inclusions. If anything this video proves just how much money Microsoft are putting behind the studio to develop Forza 4 and judging from the in-game footage it’s shaping up to be a belter!
