Xbox Live Arcade revenue was up 41% in March according to FADE (Forecasting and Analyzing Digital Entertainment).

Reports suggest that a revenue of $10.6 million was achieved over the first month of spring, with Toy Soldiers pulling in the biggest earnings at $3.14 million (209,000 downloads).

These figures demonstrate just what a powerful revenue stream the downloadable services have become for the major players in the console market. No wonder, then, that companies like SEGA has chosen to restructure its business to favour digital distribution.
