THQ Confirms Saints Row, Darksiders sequels
More franchise action on the way.

During a recent THQ investors call, CEO Brian Farrell confirmed that Darksiders, Saints Row, Red Faction, Homefront and de Blob will all be sequelised in the next financial year.
This will come as good news to fans of THQ's action-packed open worlders Saints Row and Red Faction, and testament to the rude health of Volition as a studio, and indeed THQ as a company. Remember, the publisher was in dire straits prior to the release of UFC Undisputed 2009, itself due a sequel in May this year.
Wii owners will be pleased to hear that the excellent de Blob will be getting another shot, too - it's one of the more underrated efforts to appear on Nintendo's console.
