Speaking to GamerZines this week, Bungie said that downloadable content for Halo 3: ODST was unlikely.

For our latest Halo coverage, click here to download 360Zine Issue 35 for free."There are no plans right now to do any kind of DLC for ODST in the way that we supported Halo 3 with DLC," admitted Bungie's Lars Bakken, "but who knows? Anything's possible in the future. But currently there are no plans."
Microsoft Games Studios' Ryan Crosby pointed to the fact that ODST was an extension to Halo 3 in itself. "Part of ODST *is* Halo 3, right? So that's extending the Halo 3 experience. There's certainly the option to do it, but nothing's been developed yet."
Halo 3: ODST comes on two discs, one containing the new solo campaign of ODST with a brand new co-operative mode named Firefight, and the second featuring the Halo 3 multiplayer experience in its entirety, including all map packs released to date.
