Modern Warfare 2 has reportedly been pulled from Russian shelves due to controversy surrounding the game's content.
According to a report on Destructoid, Russian officials issued the ban following public outcry over the game's 'No Russian' mission, a short sequence that sees players join a group of Russian terrorists and storm a Russian airport.

Should it pass, it'll be back on stores over the course of the next few weeks.
Modern Warfare 2, which launched worldwide last Tuesday, caused controversy the world over, even provoking MP Keith Vaz to publically declare that he was 'absolutely shocked' by the game's 'brutality'.
But despite the controversy the game went on to become the 'biggest entertainment launch in history' selling approximately 4.7 million copies in North America and the UK in its first 24 hours, generating fan estimated $310 million for publisher Activision.
