"DLC is planned fir the wonderfully vauge timeframe of Spring. I'll let you know when we know when it'll be done"
Or so mistypes Infinity Wards' Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist and Twitter conduit for all things MW2. We predict a map pack, but a few new Spec Ops missions wouldn't go amiss either.

There has been a recent tendency for games, such as Dragon Age, to ensure that DLC is available within the first thirty days after launch, which is reckoned to be the most successful, aka lucrative, time to launch DLC. Given the longevity of the first Modern Warfare in the charts though, Infinity Ward probably has more time than most to get DLC out.
It coincides with news that Ben Schachte, an analyst at Broadpoint AmTech, reckons that Modern Warfare 2 DLC could make $140 million in 2010. Quite how he knows how many map packs Modern Warfare 2 is going to get is anyone's guess, but he's the analyst, so we should obviously listen.
