If Dante's Inferno isn't enough classic-literature-turned-action game for you, this tidbit from clothing icon and part-time videogame producer Mark Ecko will have you salivating. Or at least it would do if it was anything more than a figment of his hoodied imagination.
Yes, Mr. Ecko wanted to create a videogame adaptation of The Scottish Play, telling Destructoid that he "completely reimagined Macbeth" in a recent interview. While we can only imagine what shape this adap would have taken, images of Natal-controlled floating daggers or Wiimote cauldron-stirring come quickly to mind.

It also shed light on murdering innocent construction workers who dared to question your paint-spraying ways. Not exactly a golden pedigree.
Still, it's looking unlikely that Ecko-beth will ever see the light of day. He's currently working on DS title I Heart Geeks with CDV, a game staunchly lacking any Shakespearian sensibilites. Don't count it out forever, though. After all, this is a man who told D'toid "I don't live my life afraid of what other people think".
Probably a good thing...
