'We love Killer Instinct', reveals Microsoft man, but sequel isn't currently in the works.
Do you remember SNES fighter Killer Instinct? No? Then you're missing out on the butt-kicking charms of the green-suited, big-breasted B. Orchid and the cybernetic Fulgore.
But luckily for you, "someday" you may get the chance to revel in a next-gen version of the popular fighter, which Microsoft Game Studios' Ken Lobb says he'd love to make.
Talking to Destructoid about whether we'll ever get to see Killer Instinct 3, Lobb said:
"Someday we will bring back KI."
"I love KI. We wanna make KI. We're not working on it today."
Make it so, Klobb.
Developed by GoldenEye developers Rare, Killer Instinct first appeared in arcades back in 1994 with a SNES version following in '95. A sequel followed in 1996 which was later ported to the N64 as Killer Instinct Gold.
