DJ Hero gets the special edition treatment

Activision today announced that DJ Hero is getting a rather swanky special edition. DJ Hero: Renegade Edition comes with a premium version of the platter peripheral bundled with the standard edition, enhanced with a metal finish and improved knobs to twiddle. Matron.

No announcement has been made as to the price of this special edition, but considering the normal one will set you back £108, you might need to extend that overdraft a tad.
The game itself is out around October time, featuring 80 mixes and 100 tracks from some of the world's biggest superstars past and present. And it looks mighty fine to us.
