Sega has confirmed that the Aliens Versus Predator demo has been downloaded over 4 million times; a staggering amount considering the problems that plagued it during its first few days live.
The multiplayer teaser appeared on both Xbox Live and PSN, although the PlayStation version had to be replaced due to connectivity problems. It goes to show, though, that a strong demo, good timing and a bit of luck can go a long way, as AVP topped the all-formats charts on its week of release.
