Once again vice-cop Jack Slate and his faithful dog Shadow attempt to purge the mean streets of Grant City and wrestle it back from the tight grip of the shady underworld. Never an easy task at the best of times and when the whole city is against you and your dog, you'll need to have some pretty impressive moves to stay alive.

For our latest Dead to Rights coverage, click here to download P3Zine Issue 34 for free.Luckily enough you do as developers Blitz Games Studios have given Jack an array of skills in combat and gun fighting to help heap pain and misery on any nearby enemies, plus if you feel you need an alternative to these two fighting styles you can always control your vicious sidekick Shadow who has the ability to dispatch foes in a more subtle way.
In the game you will encounter several gangs who control parts of the city, all of which have their own favoured fighting style, so you will need to change your tactics to deal with the varied attacks they will use. Shadow, Jack's four legged companion is a fully controllable character in the game who has the ability to stealthily attack enemies when the element of surprise is needed or if you prefer he can just savagely rip them limb from limb, ouch!
But then Jack is no slouch when it comes to dealing with attackers either as he has a range of devastating combo's and take down at his disposal, which will come in handy when you are surrounded in a ring of bad guys. And when it comes to fire fights you will be able to take tactical cover and use blind fire, plus Jack can use enemies as effective human shields.
