Capcom today announced that their Wii exclusive fighter, Tatsunoko vs Capcom Ultimate All-Stars, will feature a 2D vertical shooter playable by up to 4 people. They're calling the mode All-Shooters and its set on the landscape of Lost Planet, giving you the chance to shoot acres of Akrid.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom Ultimate All-Stars is a 2D fighter featuring the characters from various Capcom properties and those from the Tatsunoko family. Tatsunoko is a Japanese animation company founded in the 60s and behind many of their favourite TV series. They aren't perhaps that well known in Europe, but if you're in your late 30s; you'll probably remember Battle of the Planets.
When Capcom made the surprise decision to bring the game to the west as well as translating it, they also committed to adding extra content. Amongst the additions already announced were online play and the appearance of Frank West from Dead Rising.
Tatsunoko vs Capcom Ultimate All-Stars will be available for Wii on 29th January in the UK.
