Sniper Elite, the tactical shooter that debuted on PC, PS2 and Xbox in 2005, is currently in development for Wii.
The Wii-zapper compatible shooter focuses heavily on stealth play, requiring you to master sniper techniques as an American OSS agent, Karl Fairburne, disguised as a German sniper.
Set in Berlin during World War II, Sniper Elite will make full use of the motion-sensing capabilities of Wii and contain new yet-to-be-announced features plus brand new levels that didn't feature in the original game.
There isn't a firm release date as yet, but expect Sniper Elite to land sometime during Q2, 2010.
